About our program

We have selected quality foundation females from other Australian Speckle Park studs. Our females are selected on both phenotypic and genotypic characteristics, including temperament for easy and safe handling, frame size and structure, shorter gestation length to optimise breeding efficiency, and lighter birthweight for calving ease. 

We consider bulls from across the globe, however we favour local Australian genetics. Bulls are also selected on phenotype and genotype, considering physical attributes, EBVs and other genetic testing. We hand pick each bull we use over each cow, ensuring the traits we select for align with our breeding goals and compliment the cow's individual characteristics.
